About Us

Simply Mobilizing NZ aims to see all God’s people living a life on mission with God and every church a missional church

What is the message of Simply Mobilizing?

We believe that discipleship has always been missional. Jesus said, “This is to my Father’s glory that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples” (John 15:8).

No one is saved just to be saved – every believer is saved into the mission of God, and every church is called to be a missional church, equipping God’s people for a missional lifestyle, 24/7.

Mobiology explores reasons why God has called His people to engage with Him on mission from the perspective of both fulfilling God’s mission agenda for the world and His agenda for His Church.

Simply Mobilizing’s expression of Mobiology is concerned with the mobilisation of all God’s people into meaningful involvement in participating with God on His mission.

The Great Commission requires the great mobilisation!

Who is Simply Mobilizing NZ?

Simply Mobilizing NZ is directed by Andrew and Kelly Moore, who are based in Palmerston North with their two sons. Having lived for two years in the Philippines based at the international office for Simply Mobilizing, Andrew and Kelly have worked alongside many different churches and Christian ministries worldwide.

Currently we are blessed to have Max and Dorothy Chismon (Simply Mobilizing International Directors) based in NZ and working closely alongside Andrew and Kelly.

Simply Mobilizing NZ has a great team of mobilizers in Aotearoa/New Zealand, from many different denominations and churches, which we are growing, so that all churches in NZ can access our courses and programmes.

Our History

Our mobilisation efforts in New Zealand started in the 1990s with the Condensed World Mission Course (CWMC). In 2004 the name of the CWMC course was changed to the Kairos course. The Kairos course was well accepted throughout NZ and many graduates were trained as Head Facilitators and took the course to their region and ran it in churches, mission organizations and Bible Schools.

In 2015, the Kairos course transitioned into the Simply Mobilizing (SM) movement, which in addition to the Kairos course, multiple mobilization courses were added and SM began to focus on the development and training of mobilisers to enhance and grow the important ministry of mobilization.

In 2024 we began to understand that to be effective in mobilising all God’s people we need to be church-centered. The Interface pathway was launched and is now core to how we engage with churches and support their journey to mobilise their people to be living a life on mission with God 24/7.

Simply Mobilizing International

We are part of an International Movement. Simply Mobilizing is now running programmess and courses in over 120 countries.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God. That there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all in one Being.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the Cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His Lordship over His Church and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the salvation of sinful people by God’s grace and through the believer’s faith.

We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of believers, in order to lead holy and obedient lives and to engage fruitfully in the ministry of reconciliation.

We believe in the unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, for the well-being of His body – the Church – our witness to the world and for His glory.

We believe that Christ commanded the Church to go into all the world and make disciples of all peoples; baptizing and teaching those who believe to obey all that Christ commanded.
